Police: Stolen Vehicle Causes Fiery Crash On Schuylkill Expressway
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police say a stolen car speeding eastbound on the Schuylkill Expressway slammed into another vehicle at the Montgomery Drive exit.
Officials say two males who were in the stolen car got out and tried to run from the scene, but were apprehended.
The occupants of the vehicle that was hit were able to get out before both cars burst into flames.
Medics transported two patients to Hahnemann hospital.
Three additional patients were taken to Presbyterian.
No word on their conditions.
Eastbound traffic appears to be moving at normal speeds.
