Pa. Judges Propose $50M Fine Against Uber

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Two Pennsylvania judges have proposed a record $50 million fine against ride-share service Uber.

The ruling, subject to approval by the Public Utility Commission, is meant to punish Uber for operating in the state without approval.

An Uber spokesperson says the company is "disappointed" with the decision and hopes to come to a reasonable resolution.
