Police: Off-Duty Phila. Housing Authority Officer Shoots And Kills Robber

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — According to Police, an off-duty Philadelphia Housing Authority Officer shot and killed a robber on Sunday.

Authorities say the off-duty officer was targeted by two robbers on the 400 block of W. School House Lane.

The officer opened fire, during what authorities described as an exchange of fire, striking one of the robbers. The second robber was able to escape.

The off-duty officer was not injured in the incident.
