WEATHER: Tracking The Latest Tropical Storm

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Tropical Storm Kate has become the 11th named storm in the Atlantic in 2015.

Kate is first Atlantic storm since Joaquin, and is unfortunately also impacting the Bahamas. Tropical Storm Warnings have been issued for most of the islands.

VIEW: Latest Forecast

While hurricanes are less likely in November than the preceding months, it is still officially hurricane season until November 30.

Kate is not forecast to strengthen into a hurricane, but it will still be capable of heavy rain and damaging wind. The rain moving in for tomorrow will not be associated with Kate, but the that storm will eventually be responsible for sweeping Kate out to sea -- meaning a U.S. landfall is unlikely.
