This Week: No More 70s, Rain Chances

By Geoffrey Bansen

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --  After a balmy start to November, temperatures will be much closer to normal this week, with some rain chances, as well.

Monday morning was very much on the chilly side, with a number readings below the freezing mark and many reports of frost, as well. Temperatures will rebound to near 60 today under some bright sunshine, but clouds will begin to push in from the south by midday as a storm system approaches. Rain will begin to develop late tonight into tomorrow morning, with periods of rain on and off during the day Tuesday and a stiff breeze out of the northeast. We're expecting a general .5" for the Delaware Valley, with a few locally higher amounts possible.

Clouds will then give way to some sun on Wednesday before another round of showers on Thursday. Temperatures will still be on the mild side of average, but nowhere near the 70s of last week.
