Graphic Photos Of Greg Hardy's Ex-Girlfriend Released

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- About a year and a half ago, Carolina Panthers defensive lineman Greg Hardy was arrested for beating and threatening his former girlfriend Nicole Holder.

On Friday, Deadspin.com released the never-before-seen photos of the injuries inflicted on Holder by the now Dallas Cowboys player. The graphic photos show bruises all over Holder's body.

Hardy was convicted of domestic violence in 2014 and after appeal, the case was thrown out after Holder stopped cooperating.

After missing a year of football, Hardy was suspended for 10 games. Hardy signed a one-year deal worth over $11 million with the Cowboys this past offseason and his suspension was reduced to four games.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones recently called Hardy a "real leader" and on Friday, according to ESPN.com, the Cowboys said they were aware of the Deadspin report and "would have no comment."
