Children Cast Their Ballots At Please Touch Museum's Special Election Day Program

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Kids visiting the Please Touch Museum got the chance to immerse themselves in the Election Day experience.
Five-year-old Andrew was already aware of what election day is all about.
"It's when you make your choices," said Andrew.
Alice Gonglewski, The Please Touch Museum's Associate Director of Family Learning, says kids were given a chance to play with three different toys, and vote for one of them in one of two curtained booths.
"Some would go in and out really quickly, but I think others were really kind of struggling with having to commit to just one choice," said Gonglewski.
For Andrew, it was an easy decision.
"I like playing with the suction cup toys."
His mom, Kate, says for all her kids, voting's a family affair.
"We go at the local fire station, and in years past, I've had all of them with me, and they know it's a big deal," she said.
(Daly:) "Is it important to do?"
"Yes!" said Andrew.
