SEPTA Police Seek Information On Eagles-Giants Fan Brawl

By Walt Hunter

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- SEPTA video shows a lone N.Y. Giants fan-wearing quarterback Eli Manning's #10-surrounded by Eagles green as he exits an El train heading back from Monday night's game. But soon flying words give way to flying fists as they walk through 69th Street Terminal.

SEPTA Police Captain Daryl Jones says his investigators are now seeking identities of those involved. So far, he says no one has come forward to file a complaint. The Captain adds he would like to speak with the person who shot and posted phone video, since that person could be a valuable witness.

Video shows the Giants fan being punched and knocked to the ground as the crowd moves past him.

"This is a perfect example of behavior we can't have on our system," Capt. Jones told CBS 3's Walt Hunter.

The Captain explained that even if no one comes forward, charges could still be filed based on what the videos show.

Captain Jones says SEPTA police are routinely assigned to trains, buses and stations during and after games.
