18-Year-Old Faces Child Porn Charges In Montgomery County

HATBORO, Pa., (CBS) -- Word that 18-year-old Pablo Rodriguez had been charged with possessing more than 1,500 sexual and sexually abusive images of children as young as 3 drew a strong reaction from Hatboro neighbors.
Police say Rodriguez is a student at Hatboro Horsham Senior High School. The child porn, they say, found in a search of a home where the suspect lives with his grandparents on East County Line Road.
A person who answered the door declined to comment.
Investigators say Rodriguez not only collected and distributed child porn, but also hid cameras to secretly record children changing in and out of swimsuits.
A spokesperson for the Hatboro Horsham School District emailed a statement that reads in part, "the activities that led to this person's arrest did not occur on school district property or during the course of his day as an alternative school student."
Attempts to speak with suspect and his attorney were not successful.
Bail was set at $100,000, with the District Justice ordering the suspect to avoid contact with anyone under 18 and not to use his computer.
