66-Year-Old Man Fatally Struck By Vehicle On Roosevelt Boulevard

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A 66-year-old man was fatally struck by a vehicle on Roosevelt Boulevard on Sunday. According to Philadelphia Police, the accident occurred around 2:15 near 400 E. Roosevelt Blvd.

Officials say the man darted across the boulevard and was struck by a vehicle going southbound.

Police add that the man suffered severe injuries to his head and leg. He was taken to Einstein Medical Center for treatment where he was later pronounced dead.

The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene and there have been no charges filed at this time.
