1-3 Eagles Still Projected To Win NFC East

By Andrew Porter

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- It's not over 'til the fat lady sings and I don't see a fat lady anywhere!

While the Philadelphia Eagles are 1-3 and reeling, their weak division is one of the key things keeping hope alive in Philadelphia. In fact, according to ESPN's NFL Power Index, the Birds are still favored to win the NFC East.

The Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, and Eagles are all projected to win between 7.5 and 8.5 games. Not to curb your enthusiasm, but the Eagles' chances of winning Super Bowl 50 have diminished to just 2.1-percent.

The Eagles host the 1-3 New Orleans Saints on Sunday, before a Monday night Week 6 date against the New York Giants in South Philly. The 2-2 Cowboys host the 3-0 New England Patriots this week, while the 2-2 Giants host the 1-3 San Francisco 49ers on Sunday Night Football.

And don't sleep on the 2-2 Washington Redskins who have a tough matchup Sunday in Atlanta against the undefeated Falcons.
