Second Day Of Forbes Under 30 Summit Gets Off To 'Rocky' Start

By Tim Jimenez

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Forbes Under 30 Summit continues in Philadelphia. And many of the participants kicked off day two with a run that could only happen here -- the Under 30 Rocky Run.

It was a late night for many taking part in this summit, and they had the perfect way to get the day going.

"What better way to wake up than do the Rocky steps with the U.S. Women's Soccer team?" says Forbes Editor Randall Lane.

World Cup champs Alex Morgan, Julie Johnston and Shannon Boxx joined dozens on this one mile Rocky Run from Love Park to the Art Museum with the Temple Marching band playing the knock out, iconic tune at the finish.

Matt from Gladwyne says the run captured the energy of the week's events.

"It's an incredible excitement for me," he says. "An inspiration."

And even though he's always lived in the area, it was his first time running up the Art Museum steps. With three top athletes as running partners and the Temple band providing the soundtrack, this was as good as it gets.

"In 30 years, having done this, if there's any way to do it, this is the way to do it," he says. "So I'm just privileged and thrilled to be a part of it."
