11-Year-Old Who Runs His Own Business Attends Forbes Under 30 Summit

By Melony Roy

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- This week Philadelphia is the place to be for young entrepreneurs and game-changers at the Under 30 Summit.

The Forbes Under 30 summit is full of young entrepreneurs, but Caleb Smith from Minnesota might be the youngest.

"I'm eleven," he said.

He runs his own business called STEM Bunnies.

"It's an organization that fosters rabbits to schools and families so that they can have the feeling without having it for 10 years," he said.

He came up with the idea two years ago when he found nearly 300 rabbits on Craigslist right after Easter.

"Most people think 'Oh rabbits let's get one for Easter. Yay! Then they're like oh it's too much work now we can't have it anymore.'"

He says being the youngest person at the conference feels different but in a good way. He was excited he got the chance to meet Dr. Ruth and Kelly Osbourne.
