Man Struck By Two-By-Four During Tioga Home Invasion

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Authorities say a man is hospitalized after a woman in her 30' sand three men, wearing dark hoodies and armed with two-by-fours, invaded a home in Tioga Saturday night.

It happened around 7:35 pm at the 1900 block of West Hunting Park Avenue.

The woman and the three men armed with the two-by-fours forced their way into the home of a 48 year-old man.

Police say that a 32 year-old man in the home was struck in the back of the head by a two-by-four.

The man was taken to Temple University Hospital. His condition is not yet known.

Authorities say the woman and the men took a file cabinet from the home. Inside the cabinet were $400, an iPhone 6, prescription medication, credit cards and an ID.

Police say the victim of the invasion knows the suspect.

No arrests have been made and a weapon was found at the scene.
