Man Critically Injured In North Philly Shooting

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- One man is in critical condition after a shooting Sunday morning in the Fairhill section of North Philadelphia.

Police say a 35-year-old man was in front of a home near the intersection of North 7th and West Clearfield Street, when he was approached by another man. Authorities say the suspect shot the victim four times: three times in the chest and once in the hand.

Police took the victim to Temple University Hospital where he is being treated.

Police say the suspect fled the scene on a bicycle.
