SWAT Team Evacuates Residents After Armed Man Locks Ex-Boyfriend In Closet After Breakup

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police say a SWAT team has evacuated residents from a home after armed man locked his ex-boyfriend in a closet.

It happened around 2:45 p.m. Saturday at the 3700 block of North 16th Street.

Authorities say say a 27 year-old man ended his relationship with a 23 year-old man and the younger male left the residence.

He later came back with a handgun and locked the older man in a closet.

SWAT teams evacuated residents on the 2nd and 3rd floors.

The incident was clear around 4:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon, but both men were not found in the residence.
