Police: Woman's Death Ruled Homicide, Arrest Made

By Molly Daly

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia Police say an arrest has been made in connection with the death of a woman last month, which they say has been ruled a homicide.

Early on the morning of August 31st, police were called to North Park Avenue near Dauphin Street in North Philadelphia. In the first floor apartment, police say they found the body of 21-year-old Agatha Hall, with a gunshot wound to the head. Police say they found a 9mm handgun under her body.

Authorities say an autopsy showed the bullet entered her skull on the left side, above her forehead. Last week, police say additional testing showed there was no way she could've fired the fatal shot, and Hall's death was ruled a homicide.

On Tuesday, police arrested her boyfriend, 29-year-old Brandon Meade, and charged him with murder. Hall was a senior at Temple University, majoring in finance and international business.
