Police: 1 In Custody In Connection With Olney Rape, Attempted Carjacking
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia Police say they have made an apprehension in connection with a rape and an attempted carjacking in Philadelphia's Olney neighborhood.
Police say it happened shortly before 6:30 p.m. Monday on the 400 block of West Tabor Road.
They say a woman was sitting in her car when a man allegedly forced her to get out of the car before sexually assaulting her.
Officials say the man then tried to carjack another car but was unsuccessful.
Police say an apprehension was made.
