The Labor Day Weekend is about to start, and although it is the symbolic end of the summer season, it is also a chance to get together with loved ones and spend quality time, for many around the BBQ. But there are certain health issues we see every year. The biggest problem has to do with alcohol. People are celebrating but they are also traveling to see family and friends. A few innocent drinks at a party can turn into a disaster if there is not a designated driver.
Perhaps the most concerning part of this is the fact that many families are out on the road. Please don't drink and drive and even if you are not drinking make certain the kids are buckled up and in carseats if necessary.
Another quick point, if you are having a BBQ, make sure you keep foods, especially salads, refrigerated and not out in the sun for prolonged periods.
