Police: 1 Dead, 1 Injured Following Grays Ferry Shooting

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia Police say one man is dead and another man is in critical condition following a double shooting in the city's Grays Ferry neighborhood.

Police say it happened at about 5:49 p.m. Monday at the 1500 block of S. Corlies Street.

According to police, a 37-year-old man was shot in the side. Police say he was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 6:19 p.m.

Police say a 28-year-old man was shot in the back. He was also taken to the hospital where is in critical condition, according to police.

No arrests have been made at this time.

Police are investigating.
