Only Three Teams With Shorter Super Bowl Odds Than Eagles

By Andrew Porter

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- And then there were three.

After the Eagles' 39-26 preseason torching of the Packers on Saturday night, Vegas Insider has shortened their Super Bowl odds from 15/1 to 10/1. That gives the Birds the fourth shortest Super Bowl odds in all of the NFL.

The Eagles have outscored their three preseason opponents (Colts, Ravens, and Packers) in the first quarter by a combined score of 52-3.

On Monday, Hall Of Fame NFL analyst Ray Didinger and the voice of the Eagles Merrill Reese, both said it's the best preseason Eagles offense they've ever seen. Also, NFL analyst Beasley Reece, formerly of CBS3, optimistically predicted two Super Bowls in the next three years.

SI.com's Peter King wrote on Monday, "The headline: Sam Bradford has quieted the Philly nut jobs."
