Man Sought In Port Richmond Robbery, Sex Assault

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Philadelphia police are looking for the man they say robbed three people at gunpoint Sunday night in Port Richmond, and sexually assaulted one of them.

It happened around 6:30 p.m. in an area known as Graffiti Pier, near Richmond and Cumberland Streets.

The Special Victims Unit says two women and a man in their early 20s were approached by a man with a scruffy beard, wearing in a white Phillies cap, who engaged them in conversation, before pulling a handgun and telling them he was going to rob them.

He walked the trio to a wooded area, where he took their phones, wallets, and other valuables.

Authorities say he sexually assaulted one of the women before running off.
