Police Searching For Suspect Who Killed Twins In Camden

By Kim Glovas

CAMDEN, NJ (CBS) -- Twin brothers were shot to death inside a car in Camden Friday morning.

The Camden County Prosecutor and Camden Police are asking for the public's help in tracking down the killer of Maurice and Maurice Harper.

The Camden County Prosecutors office says the two brothers were found inside a silver 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee around 7:30 at Collings Road and South Constitution Road. Both were 26 years-old.

Police received a 911 call and responded to the scene.

"Preliminary findings indicate the shooting occurred several hours before a passing motorist actually called 911." says Andy McNeil, spokesman for the Prosecutor's office. "Obviously still a very active and ongoing investigation and detectives are still working to determine a motive."

Anyone with information on the crime is urged to call County detectives at 856-614-8003, or police at 856-757-7420.
