Bears Invade New Jersey Family's Pool
ROCKAWAY TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBS) -- A family of bears decided to beat the heat by taking a dip in a family's pool in Rockaway Township, New Jersey.
The bear family of six only visited for about an hour the Rockaway family says.
The bears also enjoyed the playground equipment in the backyard before continuing on their journey.
Homeowner, Tim Basso was confused at first when the bears stuck around.
"I thought they might just stop to get a drink," Basso said. "My first reaction was, where's the dog and where's the kids."
No one was injured, only a few pool toys.
