PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Phillies traded one of the most popular players in franchise history last night, sending second baseman Chase Utley to the Los Angeles Dodgers for a couple of prospects.

2015 was Utley's 13th season in Philadelphia. He was drafted by the Phillies in the first round back in 2000. he made his Major League debut in 2003 and his first Major League hit was a grand slam home run against the Colorado Rockies.
