Eagles Super Bowl Odds Getting Shorter Already

By Andrew Porter

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Overreaction Monday! Vegas isn't above it either.

With the exception of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Minnesota Vikings who have played two, the other 30 NFL teams have only played one preseason game. The Eagles smoked the Colts 36-10 in their opener on Sunday, and consequentially, their Super Bowl odds have drastically improved.

According to Darren Rovell of ESPN, the Westgate Las Vegas Super Book has lowered the Eagles' odds to win the Super Bowl from 20/1 to 14/1.

The Eagles are now tied with the Baltimore Ravens and Dallas Cowboys for sixth shortest odds, according to the Westgate sports book.
