Tony Romo On Eagles Fans: 'They're Funny'

By Ray Boyd

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo was on WFAN in New York on Wednesday. Part of the interview focused on which NFC East opponent Romo loved to hate the most.

Romo gave the typical answer you would expect. "I don't like any of them," Romo said of the Eagles, Giants and Redskins.

He was then asked which fan base gives him the most grief when he comes to their stadium. "I try to tune all that out, but I think obviously you guys are looking for Philly."

"They're funny. They're nice. They're just passionate about their team," Romo said of Eagles fans.

He also notices that they can dish out to their own players as well. "They have no problem turning on their team sometimes too. It's funny when I hear them yell at their own guys out there."

Romo also discussed a former teammate of his that is now wearing the midnight green, DeMarco Murray. He did not mention Murray by name, but he did make it clear that not anyone can just come in and fill his shoes.

"Well I don't think that any runner in the league can just go out and do what everybody else does. There are special players that play that position and they separate themselves."
