Ryan Adams Covering Swift's '1989' In Full
By Michael Cerio
Do you like Taylor Swift, but find her too upbeat and hopeful?
Here to help is prolific singer-songwriter Ryan Adams, who took to Twitter this morning to unveil his plans for a full album cover of Swift's gigantic '1989' album, "as played by The Smiths".
A longing dark and restless Morrissey-infusion, sung and produced by the well-traveled heartfelt Ryan Adams might be just the second life that 1989 needs nine months after its release. This time the daydream will be dressed like the nightmare. A brooding, guitar driven nightmare.
A late night session so far has yielded Instagram photos and this brief snippet from his take on "Welcome To New York".

Before your Swiftie head explodes as you hashtag your outrage, know that Taylor is on board.
