Weather: Heat Wave Coming To A Close

By Geoff Bansen

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Our 8 day heat wave has just about reached the end. While there is an outside chance that Philadelphia could hit 90 for one more day, we expect it to fall just a single degree short.

Temperatures will then take a more substantial drop for the rest of the week. While it will still be warm on Wednesday, lower humidity will make for a much more comfortable day.

Morning clouds will thin and give way to full sunshine, which will stick around through the first half of tomorrow. Clouds will then increase in advance of a storm system that will approach to the south, likely brushing Philly on Friday.

We will then begin to clear out, just in time for the weekend.
