Two School Buses Collide In Bordentown

BORDENTOWN, N.J., (CBS) -- A collision occurred involving two school buses in Bordentown, N.J. on Wednesday afternoon.

The incident occurred around 3:20 p.m. at the intersection of Crosswicks Road and Route 130.

Authorities say that a school bus driven by Ludmilla Larsen, 68, drove and collided with the rear end of another bus driven by Frederick Hannah, 42.

According to authorities, the accident caused major damage to the front of Larsen's vehicle and Larsen was entrapped and had to be rescued by emergency personnel.

Police add that she suffered serious injuries and was taken to Helene Fuld Hospital in Trenton, N.J.

Officials say that Hannah was the only occupant of his vehicle. Larsen was driving with a school bus aide who was the lone passenger on-board. The aide sustained minor injuries.

Bordentown Township Police continue to investigate the collision.
