Preview: Phils Go For 10th Win In 11 Games On Wednesday

By Matt Leon

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Who are these people and what have they done with the Phillies?

That is a question many fans are asking these days as the Phils, the team with the worst record in baseball, have all of a sudden turned things around and gone 9-1 since the Major League Baseball All-Star Break. Last night they beat the Blue Jays 3-2 in Toronto as left-hander Adam Morgan pitched six strong innings to earn the win and Ken Giles earned his first save as closer in place of the now traded Jonathan Papelbon.

Jerome Williams will get the start on the mound tonight for the Phils as they wrap up this quick series in Toronto. The veteran right-hander is 3-7 and he has a 6.28 ERA. In his last start, his first since returning from the disabled list, he allowed three runs in six innings against the Cubs, getting a no-decision.

The Blue Jays will counter with right-handed knuckleballer R.A. Dickey who is 4-10 with a 4.53 ERA here in 2015.

Here is the lineup against Dickey:

1. CF Ben Revere
2. SS Freddy Galvis
3. 3B Maikel Franco
4. DH Ryan Howard
5. LF Jeff Francoeur
6. RF Domonic Brown
7. C Carlos Ruiz
8. 1B Darin Ruf
9. 2B Andres Blanco

KYW's Matt Leon spoke with Meghan Montemurro of The News Journal about the Phils improved play, the trade of Jonathan Papelbon and the potential of a Cole Hamels deal.
