Missy And Charlie Manuel Get Married In Vegas

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Charlie Manuel and Melissa "Missy" Martin have been together for 20 years and on Sunday, the long-time couple tied the knot in Las Vegas.

"So happy for my sister Missy Martin!" Missy' sister Jennifer Westphal Chiti wrote via Facebook on Sunday evening. "I seriously looked like a crazy person when she called with the news that she had just gotten married!!! I was doing a dance and couldn't contain my excitement..Congratulations Missy and Charlie!"

Manuel was the manager of the Philadelphia Phillies from 2005-2013 (780-636, .551), winning five straight NL East titles from 2007-2011 and the 2008 World Series.

Now at age 71, Manuel serves as a senior advisor for the team and is beloved by Philadelphia.

Missy, who drives Manuel everywhere including to and from Phillies games back when he still managed, has three kids---twin daughters Haley and Allie, and a son Colin.

Manuel has two kids of his own, his son Charlie Jr. and his daughter Julie.

Both Missy and Charlie have beaten cancer.
