Local Animal Shelter Promotes Adoption With Special Offer

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- If you've been thinking of adopting a kennel puppy, today may be the day. The Animal Care and Control Team of Philadelphia or ACCT Philly dog kennel is full to capacity and has a special offer for today only to help local dogs find new homes.
Ed Fritz is the Operations Director and explains why the summer months are so popular at the Kennel.
"It's typically our busiest time of the year," Fritz says. "We are just limited with how many animals we can hold at a given time."
Today only, ACCT Philly is waiving all adoption fees as a special incentive.
The facility is at 111 West Hunting Park Avenue in the city's Hunting Park section, they are opened until 8 p.m.
