Teen Girl, Three Others Dead After Violent Night In Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Four people are dead, including a teenage girl, and police are searching for clues after a violent night in Philadelphia.

Authorities say a 17-year-old girl died after she was stabbed in the neck shortly after 3:30 a.m. Sunday near the Walgreens Pharmacy at Broad Street and Hunting Park Avenue in the city's Hunting Park neighborhood.

Around the same time, police say they found a car riddled with bullets that crashed into a traffic light at Front Street and Duncannon Avenue in Olney. Authorities say two 21-year-old men were shot, one of them fatally. The second victim was hospitalized in stable condition.

Before that, around 1 a.m. Sunday, police say they found a 44-year-old man dead in a pool of blood in the 2000 block of Stella Street in the city's Kensington section.

And the first homicide, police say a 26-year-old man died minutes after he was found shot in the area of 53rd Street and Woodland Avenue in Kingsessing around 9 p.m. Saturday.

Investigators are working to pinpoint the motives behind these incidents. No one has been arrested.
