Video Captures Man Stumbling And Falling Onto SEPTA Tracks

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A man was pulled to safety after he stumbled and fell onto Philadelphia subway tracks.

It happened at 6:25 p.m. Wednesday at the Market-Frankford subway line's Somerset Station. Surveillance video shows the man staggering down the steps to the platform, where he fell onto the track.

Witnesses alerted a Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority cashier, who called the police. Officers shut off power to the tracks and removed the man.

He was taken to a hospital with a knee injury.
