Philadelphia Police: Delivery Man Beaten By 6 Males Who Then Stole His Food Order
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are searching for a group of men who attacked a pizza delivery man and stole his food in the Washington Square West neighborhood.
On Friday, June 19th around 8:35 p.m., a 30-year-old Domino's Pizza delivery man from the location on South Street was walking on the 500 block of 8th Street when he was followed by six males. Surveillance footage shows the men slowly walking behind the victim before the incident.
When the delivery man turned onto the 800 block of Lombard Street, he was knocked to the ground and beaten by the suspects.
After stealing the victim's delivery order, the suspects fled the scene and were last seen running towards 8th and South streets.
The victim sustained minor lacerations on his elbow as a result of the attack.
