Jahlil Okafor Is Favored To Win NBA Rookie Of The Year
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Duke associate head coach Jeff Capel III told the 94WIP Mike & Ike Show on Monday, that Jahlil Okafor is the best player in the draft and it's not even close. Well, it looks like Vegas agrees.

Other than Okafor, the Sixers' 2014 third overall pick Joel Embiid is also listed (10/1) to win the award this upcoming season. Embiid, who missed the entire 2014-15 season due to foot surgery, continues to battle through that injury. His status is currently unknown.
Last season, Sixers rookie Nerlens Noel finished third in Rookie of the Year voting. In 2013-14, then Sixers point guard Michael Carter-Williams won the award.
