4th Of July Jam Additions: MKTO, Zella Day

By Michael Cerio

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Most people already knew that Wawa and The Roots were throwing a party on the Parkway for 4th of July. Now they have a few late RSVPs.

MKTO and Zella Day will also be taking the stage to celebrate Independence Day on the Ben Franklin Parkway.

Zella Day will showcase her soaring vocals and new album Kicker when she heads to Philadelphia. You might know the 20-year-old Arizona singer from her cover of The White Stripes "Seven Nation Army", or from her song featured on the Insurgent soundtrack. Most likely though, you've heard her and thought it was Lana Del Ray.

MKTO is the duo of Malcolm Kelly and Tony Oller. The two met while working on the short-lived Nickelodeon show Gigantic. They specialize in hip hop infused pop music, and girls totally dig them.

It's fun for the whole family.

Day and MKTO join the already announced lineup of The Roots, Miguel, and Jennifer Nettles. The Wawa Welcome America Philly 4th Of July Jam takes place on the Parkway on the 4th of July.
