Police, Family Hope New Video Will Shed Light on S. Jersey Woman's 2013 Death

By Mike DeNardo

BLACKWOOD, N.J. (CBS) -- Police have released a video they hope will help them determine how a Gloucester Township woman died nearly two years ago.

Wednesday will mark two years since the body of 59-year-old Carol Reiff was found in a wooded area near the Lakeview Apartments.

Gloucester Township police still don't know how she died, and they've released a video to try to generate new leads.

The video begins with a statement from detective Chuck Dougherty (below):  "We need your help in solving the suspicious, unsolved death of Carol Reiff in June of 2013."

In the six-minute video, Reiff's daughter Dawn (top photo) describes the day her mother disappeared:

"I texted her.  I didn't receive a response.  When I came out I fully expected to hear from her because it was completely out of nature for her to not respond."

She says her family would be grateful for any information that may come along.

"Our family has struggled for the last two years, trying to make sense of this, trying to find some closure," Dawn Reiff says.

There is a $20,000 reward for information leading to a resolution of the case.
