Tall Ships 2015: Oliver Hazard Perry
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Oliver Hazard Perry evokes images of the War of 1812, but the vessel that will sail up the Delaware is newly built to train young men and women to navigate oceans on a tall ship.
John Brady, President of the Independence Seaport Museum said it keeps a dream alive.
"All of us like to picture ourselves out there with Nelson or Barry," Brady said. "It's the romance of the sea."
The Tall Ships Festival will take place on the Delaware River between Philadelphia and Camden from June 25-28.
