Firefly Fun For The Family At Bowman's Hill

By Phran Novelli

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Look! Lightening bugs!

You have a chance to recapture the thrill of going out to chase fireflies on Thursday evening, June 25, 2015, from 7:30 – 9:00 at Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve. That's when you and your little ones can join in an early evening expedition all about these whimsical creatures. After a short discussion about fireflies, you'll decorate your own firefly catcher and head out just as the first twinkles begin.

It's pretty much impossible to follow fireflies around on a summer evening and not feel as free as a kid again, so don't miss the chance. The cost is $8 for adults, $6 per child, or less if you become a member. Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve is at 1635 River Rd. (Rt. 32), New Hope, PA, just two and half miles south of downtown New Hope.

Get details and directions BHWP.org and you can call (215) 862-2924 to register and say that you'd like to come out on Thursday, June 25th and catch some fireflies too.
