Man Shot Nine Times In Germantown
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A man is in critical condition after he was shot nine times overnight in the Germantown section of Philadelphia.
It happened around 1:30 a.m. Saturday near Germantown Avenue and Bringhurst Street.
Police say a man was shot nine times and then he ran into a Chinese food store for help. Officers then followed his trail of blood and made another startling discovery.
"We found multiple shell casings," said Police Lieutenant Anthony Buchanico," at least ten fired shell casings, and a car with multiple bullet holes in it."
The victim was taken to Einstein Medical Center in critical condition.
Investigators were checking nearby surveillance cameras for clues to help identify the gunman.
