DeMarco Murray Has Highest Selling Jersey Among NFL Running Backs

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- DeMarco Murray has only donned his new Eagles game jersey in pictures, but that is not stopping people from wanting to get their hands on it. Murray's No. 29 Eagles jersey was the top-selling jersey among NFL running backs for the month of May.
The rankings information was provided by the NFL's online shop.
Murray's rise to #1 among running backs is impressive, especially when you factor in the names that round out the top-5.
No. 2 on the list was Super Bowl champion Marshawn Lynch followed by San Diego rookie Melvin Gordon. No. 5 on the list was the Packers' Eddie Lacy.
No. 4 is a familiar name for Eagles fans. LeSean McCoy's Bills jersey was the fourth highest selling running back jersey for May. That number more than likely was not made up of Eagles fans replacing their old McCoy for a new one.
Another interesting name on the list was the highest selling quarterback jersey which belong to Titans rookie Marcus Mariota. Had the rumors come to fruition, that would have been an Eagles uniform.
Mariota edged out Jameis Winston, Tom Brady, Russell Wilson and Colin Kaepernick.
