Gruesome 2013 Murder Case Now In Hands of a Bucks County Jury

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (CBS) -- A jury is now weighing the fate of a Bucks County, Pa. man who faces multiple counts of first-degree murder in the death of a pregnant woman and her four-year-old daughter.
In his closing argument, Bucks County assistant district attorney Matt Weintraub said the evidence shows that Marcel Johnson killed five-months-pregnant Ebony Talley because she had everything he wanted, and he killed her four-year-old daughter because she witnessed the murder.
Weintraub hit some key points: such as Johnson, during interrogation, knowing key facts of the crime that even investigators didn't know at the time; the victim's DNA found under his fingernails; and items from her apartment found in his possession.
But defense attorney Craig Penglase argued there are holes in case. For example, he said, the victim had hair in her hand which DNA testing ruled out as being the defendant's. Also, despite the life-or-death struggle, photos show Johnson had no marks on his body other than two small cuts on his hands.
The case now up to the jury.
