An Update On Sam Bradford On The Field With Eagles

By Ray Boyd

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Sam Bradford has been on the field at Eagles organized team activities and while he is participating in a limited capacity, everyone wants to know how No. 7 looks out there.

NJ.com's Eliot Shorr-Parks joined Josh Innes and Jody McDonald on Tuesday to discuss what he's seen from Bradford so far.

"Well Bradford's going to look really good in this type of setting," Shorr-Parks explained. "He's only doing the stuff he's ready to do recovering from the ACL and he's just standing back there and throwing."

Shorr-Parks clearly took a more cautious approach to evaluating Bradford this early in his recovery process.

"When Bradford's able to stand back with no pressure and just deliver a ball on his own time, he's going to look really good. He has a very strong arm. He has an accurate arm. You can see why he's very successful when, you know, at Oklahoma and for limited times at St. Louis."

Another familiar voice joined Josh and Jody on Tuesday to discuss his observations from OTAs, Sportsradio 94WIP's own Howard Eskin.

"He looked sharp," Eskin said of Bradford. "If he's healthy, just by looking at him, he's a good quarterback."

Eskin said the signs of Bradford's potential were easy to spot.

"His passes were accurate. He's crisp. He's got a good arm. He just looks like a very good quarterback."

The signs look positive right now for Bradford and we will have to keep our eyes on him as he continues to take on a heavier workload. Fans can only hope he continues his positive trajectory.
