Patrols Up Around Radnor Jogging Trail After Man Exposed Himself

By Jim Melwert

RADNOR Twp., Pa., (CBS) -- Radnor Township police are stepping up patrols around a jogging trail after a woman told them a man exposed himself to her on one of those trails Friday morning.

It happened around 8:45 a.m. on the Radnor Trail near Conestoga Road and Brookside Avenue.

Radnor Township Police Lieutenant Andy Block said a woman told investigators she was jogging when a man wearing only running shorts ran past her.

"She actually turned around and then observed this male." said Block. "And he was standing on the trail with the running-shorts pulled down around his ankles and at that point he was exposing himself."

Lt. Block says the man did not try to touch the woman.

She described him as white, about 5-9, slim, athletic build, tanned, in his mid-20s with light brown hair.

Block asks anyone who may have seen the man to call police. And he reminds everyone using any of trails in the area to be aware of their surroundings, to run or walk in groups, and to call 911 if they see something suspicious.
