Fire Damages Delco Shop, Apartment

RADNOR, Pa. (CBS) - Officials say a candle started a fire late Thursday night that damaged a store and an apartment above it in Radnor, Delaware County.

This happened around 11:15 p.m. on the 900 block of Conestoga Street.

Officials say "Conestoga Frame Shop and Gallery" caught fire after a candle was knocked over in the apartment above the store.

"Guy had a candle in his bedroom, candle fell over, lit the bedding on fire," explains Chief Dan Kincade with the Bryn Mawr Fire Company.

Crews placed the fire under control in less than an hour.

Everyone was able to get out safely and no injuries were reported.
