By John McDevitt
COCHRANVILLE, Pa. (CBS) -- A Chester County service dog group is holding a picnic later this month to celebrate its 25th Anniversary.
It's being held to show the community the important work that is being done.
Canine Partners for Life, the nonprofit kennel and training center for service and companion dogs in Cochranville, is throwing an anniversary party.
They're calling it "Pawty at the Preserve."
It's a picnic with all sorts of food and beverages, scheduled for May 30th from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Lenfest Center at ChesLen Preserve in Coatesville.
Canine Partners for Life's executive director Darlene Sullivan says, "There is going to be a puppy kissing booth. Quite a few of our graduates and dogs in training will be there, so anyone is interested in learning more about the work we do and the difference that service dogs make in people's lives who have disabilities, it will just be a great opportunity to have a beautiful event out in a gorgeous preserve in Chester County."
You'll have to purchase tickets prior to the event.
