Detectives Searching For Suspects Who Robbed Fairmount Bar
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Detectives are asking for the public's help finding two men who robbed a bar in Fairmount this week.
This happened just after midnight Tuesday at Playmaker Bar on the 900 block of North 28th Street.
Police say one of the suspects pointed a gun at the customers and bartender demanding money. After taking money from the cash register and customers, the suspects fled and were last seen heading east on Cambridge towards 27th Street.
The first suspect is described as a black male, 5'6"-5'8", 180 pounds, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, mask, and armed with a handgun. The second suspect is described as a black male, 5'10", 190 lbs, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, and a mask.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 215-686-TIPS or to call 9-1-1 immediately.
