Investigators Examining Cell Phone Records Of Engineer Of Derailed Train

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Eyewitness News has learned that a review of the signals system in the area of the Amtrak train derailment found no issues.

Officials are now examining the cell phone records of the train's engineer.

Also, investigators have interviewed the engineer of a SEPTA train that got hit by an object before the Amtrak train derailed.

Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey spoke today about the investigation into the derailment.

"Right now I'm not aware of anything that is going to result in criminal charges, but it's possible. The DA could review this. There could be something I'm not aware of that would lead to that."

The derailment last week killed eight people and injured more than 200 others.
